Evan Carcaterra is a Los Angeles–based composer and music professional working across film, television, and interactive media. He is currently Assistant to composer Joe Trapanese, contributing to large-scale studio productions through score preparation, additional arrangements, orchestration support, and production workflow management. Working within high-level television and film pipelines has shaped his approach to collaboration, efficiency, and musical clarity under demanding schedules.
In addition to his studio work, Evan composes original music for independent film and interactive media. His experience spans cinematic orchestral writing, hybrid production, and adaptive music design for games. He works extensively in Wwise, building responsive music systems that integrate seamlessly with gameplay through layered composition, state-based transitions, and parameter-driven implementation.
His interactive project Crab Rhapsody received the CUSGA Excellence in Audio Award and was named a Student BAFTA finalist, reflecting his commitment to combining narrative-driven composition with technical execution.
Evan brings together studio-level production discipline and interactive system design, offering collaborators a composer who understands both the creative and technical demands of modern scoring.
